Are you kidding me? This is hands down the best Chinese I've had in Sonoma county. I'll say I have not tried many, most just in Sonoma valley itself which is only two Chinese places... but I lived in San Francisco and the east bay for 20 years so I've had good Chinese. This place rocks. Freshness, flavor, service and price all line up. Try it or be sorry you didn't! Xo to staff and cooks!!!

I enjoy both the hot and sour soup and the wontons soups here. Both are great! The other items ive enjoyed are the dim sum basket. The black sesame steam bun is my favorite part.

Foil wrapped chicken is my favorite here. Not a lot of Chinese restaurants offer that. Fried calamari, bbq pork fried rice and chow mein was all spot on. Seafood pan fried noodle was ok. Instead of the clear broth sauce I'm use to, it was the dark soy sauce based. Solid place for Chinese stir fried food.

I'm vegan and it's very hard to find a good quality restaurant that has vegan items. Lily Kai menu had many tasty vegan items. Their House tofu was delicious and the service was great!

Revisiting this wonderful restaurant was a very good experience and I'm really glad my Covid experience did not dissuade me from coming back! (During Covid prices were higher, prep time was understandably slow, and food quality was below par) Anyhoo, I ordered Singapore Noodles, replacing pork with string beans, which turned out to be nice and crunchy without being chewy. This dish is a trifecta of shrimp, chicken and pork and deliciously seasoned, NOT greasy noodles. Ambience here is always authentic and calm. Mine was a to-go order, so I spent less than a minute at the front counter. Service was efficient and friendly. Lily Kai is now open seven days a week, which is really great when you're hankering for good Chinese food! There's usually a fair amount of parking in the adjoining lot. If that's full, parking along South McDowell near Adobe Creek works.

It's 2024. At this time, we live in an age of uncertainty and change. On a regular basis, things that we remember fondly seem to fade away or disappear completely. But there are still special places. Hidden gems can still be found, and I'd like to share one with you: Lily Kai restaurant. Just got back from treating the whole family to a massive multi-course meal. Three generations of us were there and we loved every bite. Traditional Chinese American dishes, all made with extremely fresh ingredients and portions are generous. We over ordered and ate too much, but we don't feel gross afterwards. The food is fresh and tasty. Not too much salt or grease. The staff were friendly and sweet. We love this place and are happy to have found a new family tradition.

You want Chinese food when you are in in Petaluma? This is the place to go! We shared the green onion pancakes (excellent!) and the crab wontons (not crispy enough). I would order the pancakes again. I had the wor wonton soup and the dumplings were obviously fresh made and not overcooked as often times they are! The BBQ pork in the soup was theeeee best I have ever had and when I go back I will order the BBQ on its own if that is an option! My partner had the seafood noodle soup and said it was the best he has ever had and he tries it whenever it is on a menu so that says a lot!!! I tasted my friends orange chicken and was disappointed. Once again, it was not crispy (like the crab wontons) and the sauce was very sweet. Our other friend had the Singapore noodles and loved them! I did not try but as you can see in the pic, they look divine! Can't wait to go back!
